This afternoon, I managed to get down the workshop, primarily because my brain wanted to sit n communicate with Timothy.
I did make a sort of preparations start - but called Ian from next door to tilt Tim so I could slide in the new lift able stands .
But it was the 1st time Ian (he rides as well) had seen Tim's Tribute bike, so we got chatting and lost a few hours.
Next thing we knew Lynne popped her head down and it was time to head up for tea...
Did not mind not getting much done as that was not why I went down the workshop, but hopefully it will be a start.
these 2 packages have been sat waiting for me for a month or so!
and altho I only wanted to sit n commune with Tim, my hands started to itch.
Looks as if its all made up :) :)
all ready to be inserted under the right food board frame.
But I do not have the strength, to tilt Tim to slide out the wooden block and slide this jack under.
Luckily saw Ian from next door, and called him over and he tilted the frame, whilst I slid the new jack underneath.
and that was it as Ian showed an interest and I proudly showed and explained the ideas behind parts made for Tim.
I must say I felt 100% better for the chat and made me realise just how much I need friends to keep popping in to chat or help me out.
Sadly not something that happens often, I think only 2 people have called round this year!.
But that's life, we are no longer useful to people, so as seems the case these days you just get forgotten....
Hopefully this will be a start of regular updates on CBRTIM, and if all goes to plan and weathers nice on his Birthday, I will try and get him built up and stood in the garden for people to see, if anyone turns up on his Birthday in a few weeks time..
